The average weight of a container varies on size. They are typically the following weights:
8ft – 800kg, 10ft – 1200kg, 20ft – 2500 kg, 40ft – 4000kg.
You can buy in several ways. BACS, credit/debit card or cheque. (All payments must be cleared before you receive your container.)
The minimum rental period is for 28 days from the 1st day of hire.
All of our containers are delivered on our OWN crane lorries. Our drivers can position a container up to 45 feet from the lorry. This is subject to container size and weight. It is the customer responsibility to ensure there is access for HGVS. With no overhead cables and Manhole covers. Please note we do not lift over houses.
Containers are classes as temporary structures. In most cases they are not subject to any planning laws. If you are insure, we recommend you speak to your local council and seek advice.
Shipping containers are built from high tensile steel, they are very secure. All of our containers come with a lockbox and FREE high security padlock and keys. Additional security measures can be added such as wireless alarms.
