40ft High Cube Containers
Choosing one of our 40ft high cube containers, whether you’re buying or hiring it, would give you an entire extra foot of height compared to what our standard 40ft containers offer. Consequently, you can easily store or ship cargo that may be that little too large or bulky for the usual vessels.
How does a “high cube” container differ from a “standard” one?
Our “standard” 40ft containers and “high cube” 40ft containers are largely the same. They are made to the same specification, including the same 27mm marine plywood flooring, lashing points, air vents and comprehensive resilience to water and wind, not to mention – of course – 40ft length.
Nonetheless, the “high cube” container is differentiated by its additional foot of height, placing the overall height at 9ft 6in, or 2.9m. Such extra space can prove invaluable for sealing heavy-duty machinery like diggers, as well as creating new retail, workshop and office spaces.
Customise your container to especially impressive effect
You don’t have to settle for just a “default” 40ft high cube container, even though we would provide one in blue or green as standard. That’s because, when you buy a container of this type, you also have the option of paying a little more – included in the overall quote – to have the unit painted in an alternative colour on the RAL chart.
We can also, on your request, fit an optional lockbox to the unit. If you think a 40ft high cube container from THS Containers could satisfy your requirements, simply give us a call now on 01455 271300.
